Exiled president Hadi cancelled United Nations (UN) peace talks that were to be held with the Houthi rebels. A resolution was submitted by the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to send a mission into Yemen and look into the growing humanitarian crisis in the country. Exiled Yemeni President Hadi returned to Yemen for a visit for the first time sine he was forced to leave. An Iranian fishing boat was seized by the Saudi-led coalition, carrying weapons supposedly destined for the Houthi rebels. Airstrikes in Al-Wahigah village killed 131 during a wedding reception. Suicide bombers left at least 25 people dead in a mosque in Sanaa. Over two dozen people were killed in a Saudi-led coalition attack on government buildings in Sanaa. The Saudi led coalition boosted airstrikes after the death of 60 Gulf soldiers were killed. An attack on Zaidi Mosque in Sanaa killed 20 people. Aden Refinery Company reopened and resumed operations.
