MOROCCAN TROOPS EXIT WESTERN SAHARA BUFFER ZONE / by Michelle Ryan

King Mohammed VI of Morocco ordered his troops to withdrawal from the United Nations buffer zone in Western Sahara.  According to a statement by UN Spokesman Stéphane Dujarric, armed elements from Morocco and the Polisario Front were still in close proximity before UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres urged all parties on 25 February to withdraw their armed elements from the zone.
